Hi, I’m Jenn-Co-Founder of Urban Smiles Dental Hygiene Studio! Welcome to my bio!

I’ve been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2010, but my path into dentistry started much earlier.  My first Barbie was Dentist Barbie( at eight years old), and after spending over 10 years in braces with very crooked teeth, it turns out this career was being paved long before I even knew it!

I began my career as a dental assistant, went on to become a registered dental hygienist(RDH) and now a restorative dental hygienist(RRDH).  This give me a well-rounded, restorative-focused approach to every appointment.  I also work part-time in orthodontics, because I love staying sharp and evolving with the profession.  I am proud to say I trained at Algonquin College her in Ottawa for all 3 of my diplomas!

I don’t believe in rushed appointments, cookie-cutter care, or treating people like numbers.  Every mouth is different, every person is different- and your care should feel custom, comfortable and judgement-free.  Education, honesty, and real conversations are non-negotiables. 

Urbans Smiles exists because dental hygiene can feel calm, personal, and even enjoyable.  I am passionate about preventative care, modern technology, and treatments that actually make a difference- but most of all, I want you to feel relaxed, heard and genuinely cared for.  

Outside the clinic, I am usually travelling, recharging, or hanging out with Sully-my dog, my side-kick and the unofficial studio mascot.
