A bad experience at previous dentist had left me dreading booking a cleaning and whitening elsewhere, but I can genuinely say that Jenn truly cares about you and your experience. I had a little accident where my front tooth filling chipped off. I booked appointment with my dentist to repair the filling but given that I already wanted to whiten my teeth to the natural color (I am 54, coffee drinker and a smoker), I wanted to do whitening before my appointment with dentist, so that he can match the repaired filling to the new (natural) shade. I was searching for a quick solution (other than me whitening at home, which takes a couple of weeks), and I found the Urban Smiles Ottawa 🙂 I left a message, and Yvonne called me back almost immediately. I explained my situation, and she was very kind to accommodate me on Sunday late afternoon (!).I went in a little skeptical, but as I had little to lose (other than a half the money the dentists' offices normally charge for the same service :-), I decided to give it a try.As I was approaching 88 Florence, I got the message from Yvonne that I can park on their driveway, which was a "wow" given that location is downtown and Ottawa center was covered under a thick snow that day.As I went in the Urban Smiles' office, I was immediately reassured, and any of my previous skepticism dispersed (the office is nicely appointed, the two ladies poured in security with their attention to every detail and professionalism). Both, Yvonne and Jenn were in the office, and I was lucky to get the double attention and double laughs too :-)Yvonne kindly explained again the expectations, dos and don'ts etc. (I should mention that all of this was explained to me in my first contact with the office).They sat me in a comfy chair, let me choose my favorite show of Plant Earth with David Attenborough, and the whitening started.Even though my yellowish/brown teeth really needed a longer attention, I didn't feel at all uncomfortable keeping my mouth open for an hour. It was a breeze.When we finished, I was in awe! The photo taken before and after didn't do the justice to the work Yvonne has done given the light on a clouded Sunday evening with only the office light, but I knew my teeth. I didn't have white teeth like that since I was 30! All my cigarettes smoking, coffee and red wine drinking, and all the blueberries munching in last 24 years were gone.Not only that Yvonne did a great job, but I was also able to consult their opinion on other future esthetic options that would need to be performed in the dentist's office. You see, I know that Urban Smiles' license allows hygienic work only, but their knowledge of what could be done is priceless (and hundred times better than mine), and honestly, I feel inclined to rely on their professional opinion, rather than on dentist's, because I never truly know if my dentist's recommended solutions are based on his price list.When I got home, my husband was also impressed, and I know what his next birthday gift would be :-)Ladies: thank you! You know that I will come back for touch ups and would bring my friends too 🙂
Jennifer is absolutely incredible!! I HIGHLY recommend at Urban Smiles, not only can they drive to you, they go above and beyond to make sure you get the results you desire! What I love most is Jenn pours so much love and individual care into her services!! I am over the moon with my results and my smile!! Thank you again!

Our session with Jenn was so fun! We had a little impromptu girls night! Ordered food, drank some wine (white, of course) and then got whitened all in the comfort of our home!
She brought her chairs and gear but in the end the couch was so comfy she just let us lay there! I really had no idea what to expect. Jenn explained everything as she went along, always making sure we were comfortable.
The process was so simple and the results were amazing! Highly recommend Urban Smiles Ottawa!

The Urban Smiles Ottawa team answered all my questions & explained the process before it started. In about an hour I had much whiter teeth! I had some mild sensitivity the first day but it was gone within 24 hours and I’m very happy with the results! Great experience!
